UK Homebuyer will be applying for FSA authorisation by June 2011. In the meantime, we act as Introducers to an Interim Authorised firm.
How does it work? How do we structure a rent back solution?
- To purchase your property and rent it back to you we need ascertain the following information:
- Approximate market value of your property
- The average rental figure in your area
- The maximum rent you can realistically afford, which may or may not be as high as the average rent
- Whether this type of transaction will suit you
- After having analysed the above information, our FSA regulated advisor will structure a package that suits your affordability and discuss the figures with you.
- If the verbal offer is of interest to you, they will then arrange to visit you in the property. There is no obligation on your side to accept our offer at this stage.
- Once they have seen the property and are happy with it they will confirm their offer during their visit in writing. You will still be under no obligation to accept their offer.
- If you decide to proceed with the sale and rent back they will handle all the paperwork from this point onwards. They will recommend an experience compliant solicitor and their team to act on your behalf. They will pay all fees involved in the sale and rent back of your property with no initial cash outlay for yourself.
If you would also like to buy the property back in the future, they would be happy to sell it to you at an agreed price within an agreed period of time.
